I began making pizza 16 years ago, simply as something I enjoyed doing with family and friends. A ‘Micky Pizza’ business was often joked about…..

Ten years later, whilst working at a Lake District campsite in 2017, I began offering pizzas to hungry yurts guests left with no other food options.

The dream began to unfold….

Registering as a business in 2018,  I spent a year building a stunning outdoor oven, crafted from Honister slate.  Micky Pizza was BORN!

These days I operate mobile from the back of a Citroen Dispatch van (Sorry guys, no romantic story here – it’s JUST a van!) I travel all over Eden Valley and the Lake District for parties and events and often nip up to the Scottish Highlands and North Yorkshire too!

Now, being a Geordie lad from South Shields, I’m about as Italian as Fish & Chips! But I pride myself on quality service and pizzas as authentically Italian as possible. Every pizza is made with all the love of Venice and all the passion of Florence!
